In addition to portrait painting, I love creating works having to do with organic subjects. The production of realistic trees, plants, seashells, and items from nature have been, and continue to be, my driving passion. The first subject shown here, The Fullerton Tree, took several years to complete. In order to capture it without leaves, and showing only a few of it's orange flowers, I could only work on it a short time each year.
